Mark Silberstein, President

A South African native living in La Jolla, CA for over 30 years, Mark Silberstein studied at the University of California, San Diego and Tel Aviv University graduating with BA in Economics and minor in Middle Eastern Studies.  Mark’s early career included positions with a prominent San Diego real estate finance & development company as well as a Director of Public Relations at the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles.

Mark’s 16 year career in the juvenile and toy industry began in 1999 as Vice President of Infantino, LLC.  Together with two invaluable partners, Mark Silberstein purchased Infantino in 2000 from the Dorel Juvenile Group. With little brand recognition, proprietary product or PD department, Infantino’s product range was scattered over 10 different categories mainly driven by price points. However, this provided the partners with a platform to transform the company. Mark lead the creation of a world class Product Development and Marketing team, along with a major restructuring of Infantino’s Sales Department. After 7 years, the result was a more focused, proprietary product line in the Toy and Juvenile Categories leading to fully branded Infantino 4FT to 8FT planograms in most major retailers. Establishing the Infantino brand nationally combined with defining key benchmarks needed to build the business properly was the driving force behind creating the value needed to successfully exit  Infantino. 2007 saw the successful sale of Infantino for an undisclosed amount to Liberty Partners, a Private Equity firm based in New York City.

Mark’s experience acquiring, building and successfully selling Infantino has afforded him a valuable perspective on what is required to strengthen and grow Harry Morris’s clients businesses.

Harry Morris currently has offices in La Jolla, California and Zichron Ya’acov, Israel.

Mark is married to Tali Silberstein and has 3 children.
